The lending library is located on the ground floor, with the local history collection and community meeting rooms on the 1st floor. The library shares an entrance with the local authority area offices and one-stop-shop. Glazing to the rear of the building allows natural light and ventilation to the staff area. The library has a roof garden/space for activities. The furniture and fittings are brightly coloured and innovative in design.
