Dooradoyle library is a single-storey building, located adjacent to The Crescent Shopping Centre. The building has a pitched metal roof supported by large external columns. Bold painted render, timber panelling, steel and glazing combine to create an interesting, 3 dimensional façade. Three large rooflights admit much natural light into the library. The exhibition/activity area (74m
²) can be partitioned off from the rest of the library.
