Winner of Public Library Buildings Awards in the best small new building category, 2003. Art feature by ceramic artist Claire McLaughlin. The library receives an inter-regional grant managed through The Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands of €126,974. The library works in partnership with Cavan County Arts Office, Adult Learning Centre, National Council of the Blind of Ireland, all primary schools and the Local Heritage Society.
