Abbeyfeale Library is located in a converted and extendend single-storey courthouse, built c.1900. The library shares the building with district court 11 times a year. To facilitate court days all wall shelving can be fitted with panels which can be locked into place and a folding parition separates the rest of the library from the shared space. Library study desks can be opened out to serve as bench units on court days.
