Limerick City Library and Limerick City Library HQ are located in a converted bonded warehouse built in 1787. The Library is located on the 1st floor and the HQ is located on the 2nd floor. The building was renovated in 1984. The Limerick City Music Library was opened in The Granary on 21st December 1991. The Granary features an enclosed landscaped courtyard. The size of the Library is 1168m² and the HQ is 406m².
